چکیده
The major purpose of this work is to design the controllers for controlling variable speed, pitch wind turbine (WT) with doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). Vector control strategy adopted DFIG active and reactive power. Generator torque provide regulated real power minimum fluctuation. fixed gain proportional-integral (PI) controller designed converter rotor side grid has limited operating range inherent overshoot. Gain scheduling PI minimize overshoot fluctuation exists in controller. Since based energy conversion system (WECS) works uncertain stochastic distribution (SDC) method proposed probability function (PDF) WECS. It copes nonlinearities WECS contiguous variations at point provides satisfactory performance whole region. improves together quality generated electric thereby maximizing lifespan installation ensures secure acceptable operation

Doubly Fed Induction Generator Wind Turbines with Fuzzy Controller: A Survey
Wind energy is one of the extraordinary sources of renewable energy due to its clean character and free availability. With the increasing wind power penetration, the wind farms are directly influencing the power systems. The majority of wind farms are using variable speed wind turbines equipped with doubly fed induction generators (DFIG) due to their advantages over other wind turbine generator...
متن کاملHigh Voltage Ride Through with FACTS for Wind Turbines with Doubly Fed Induction Generator
In future grid codes wind farms will have to fulfill demanding fault ride through requirements. Among several grid faults the voltage swell is a critical event. Wind farms with doubly-fed induction generators will not be able to fulfill the new grid code requirements without additional fault mitigation equipment. In this publication the applicability of the Dynamic Voltage Restorer and the Stat...
متن کاملAdaptive Backstepping Control for Wind Turbines with Doubly-fed Induction Generator under Unknown Parameters
This paper deals with an adaptive, nonlinear controller for wind systems connected to a stable electrical grid and using a doubly-fed induction machine as a generator. The study focuses on the case wherein the aerodynamic torque model and winding resistances of the generator are unknown and will be updating in real time. Two objectives were fixed; the first one is speed control, which allows us...
متن کاملDSP-based Experimental Rig with the Doubly-Fed Induction Generator for Wind-turbines
In this work the modelling and design for a wind generation control system using the doubly-fed induction machine and a DSP-based experimental set-up construction as well as part of its commissioning are presented. A DC-machine driven by a thyristor bridge emulates the windmill and is connected to the shaft of the generator. The latter is fed through its slip-rings by a back-to-back converter c...

HE AIM OF WIND TURBINE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT is to continuously increase output power. A few years ago, the rated output power of production-type units reached 200 kW. By 1999, the average output power of new installations climbed to 600 kW. The largest series production units today are specified to deliver 1.5-MW output power (Table 1). It is anticipated that in the near future, power rating of ...
